Description
Patojo is a red wine made from Monastrell grapes of high expression, by Bodegas Las Virtudes in Villena, Alicante.
Patojo is a Monastrell plot, located at an altitude of 570m above sea level and benefits from the cool nights. It is planted on vines about 30 years old, on very poor limestone and sandy soils.
They identified that the Patojo grapes could be used to produce a new range of wines with character and personality, so they are vinified separately. This is a well-defined, balanced wine with a complex structure.
