Description
Pazo San Mauro Albariño is a wine with denomination of origin Rías Baixas, Albariño grape variety. It is made only with its own vineyards. The freshness and aromatic intensity of the Albariño from this historic pazo dating back to 1591 are fully manifested in this 100% Albariño wine. This wine is the expression of an exceptional vineyard rooted in the history of a pazo that has its roots in the 16th century.
La Marimorena Albariño. The grapes come from native vines that are perfectly adapted to the estate's characteristic soils, which are predominantly granitic and clayey. The winemaking process includes ageing on fine lees for 4 months, where only the free-run juice ferments to obtain the maximum expression of the grape's aromas and nuances.
La Poda Albariño is a white wine from the D.O. Rías Baíxas by Entrecanales Domecq e Hijos. Vineyards located in the Salnés subzone, where the Albariño variety shows all its personality. The Atlantic influence marks the character of the wines produced in Salnés.
Tasting Notes
Pazo San Mauro Albariño. Very high aromatic intensity, with great quality in its aromas. Nose with fruity notes and hints of citrus, fruits and white flowers. In the mouth it is a very varietal wine, with a wide entry where its freshness, balance and persistence stand out.
La Marimorena Albariño. Different varietal aromas are perceived, such as white flowers and magnolia, which stand out above a combination of fruity notes reminiscent of reinette apple and mandarin. On the palate, this wine is fresh and full-bodied, leaving a pleasant persistence. In addition, its final acidity provides a very refreshing sensation.
La Poda Albariño has a lemon yellow colour with greenish reflections. Citrus with hints of stone fruit. In the mouth it is fresh, juicy, fluid and saline.
