Colour Very pale straw.

Nose At the same time, inimitable aromas of Adelaide Hills ... White stone fruits, particularly peach and nectarine. A suggestion of figs and spices, undoubtedly the aromatics of cloves that arise from maturation in small French oak barrels. This oak reflects sweet and cedar characters with hints of almond.

Palate The stone fruits persist amid a creaminess similar to pistachio nougat, most likely derived from prolonged time on yeast lees. Entry oak tannins and long, lingering acidity combine to create an attractive phenolic "grip" that enhances the overall structure of the palate.
