Piper Heidsieck Rare is a fruity and well-structured Prestiogioso cuvée, elaborated with a majority of Chardonnay from the region of Montagne de Reims and complemented with Pinot Noir from the same region.
This champagne is a mixture of 15 crus matured for seven years in the basement of the house.
Piper Heidsieck Rare Vintage Tasting Note
Piper Heidsieck Rare is a crystalline yellow color with a delicate sparkling effervescence.
On the nose, exotic fruits and nuts. The soft spices reflect the profusion of this champagne, white pepper, smoked tea and cocoa.
On the palate it is a wine with depth and harmony. There are notes of meringue and subtle nuances that evoke distant lands such as mint tea and exotic fruits such as pineapple and ginger.
