Description
Pisco The Governor is a colourless, bright pisco with silver gleams, elaborated with the varieties of grape Moscatel Rosé and Moscatel of Alexandria. Lush floral aroma with notes of roses and Jasmine, as well as candied citrus skins. In the mouth is greedy, round, even creamy with long and persistent finish.
This pisco is made in Valle del Marí, with a single discontinuous distillation process in copper alembic. Only in this way the terpenic aromas of the Moscatel variety are preserved.
The great heroes put their convictions ahead of fame and riches. This was the case of Philip Margutt Donaire. A patriot who stood out in the Battle of Maipú, where Chile's independence would be sealed. For his achievements, in 1843 he was awarded the position of Governor of Ovalle, where at that time were produced distillates. He spent his scarce personal resources, so that the village progressed and is reminded with his horse that was solving the problems of the people. Like the great heroes, I never seek fame or wealth, but this pisco remembers it.
