Ron Plantation Fiji 2009 Vintage Edition matured for nine years in barrels of sherry, whiskey and bourbon. The long ripening period includes a special fullness to this rum. Spicy and fruity nose with notes of thyme, bananas, cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is elegant and spicy with aromas of caramel, pineapple and eucalyptus.
Plantation bottles rums that respect the nature of the Terroir where they have been conceived; The first years are distilled and aged in the tropical climate in which they are conceived, in ex-bourbon barrels. The second part of aging takes place in French oak barrels in the continental climate of Chateau de Bonbonnet, in the heart of Charentes, in France, where they mix and bottle in a traditional way, feel the water and rum.
