Tasting note of Prieto relative Viognier 2014
Prieto Relative Viognier is of clean and bright straw colour with subtle golden reflections and greenish edging. Fine tear. On the nose it is delicate and with a good aromatic intensity.
Aromas of yellow fruit (peach) with fresh white fruit (apple, pear) and touches of exotic fruit and something citrus.
Fragrant white flowers and a large herbaceous background, with a lot of freshly cut grass and moist moss. A delight.
In the mouth it is suggestive, with an enveloping entrance that gives way to a long, fresh and smooth journey. With plenty of body and fat texture. It turns the delicate complexity of the nose, with a more prominent peach, the herbaceous ones and appearing a very subtle mineral touch. Perfectly balanced, with excellent acidity that brings a lot of freshness.
