Description
Quinta da Muradella Alanda is a white wine of the Quinta da Muradella winery, with the Monterrei Denomination of Origin, from Galicia.
The grapes come from several organically farmed, low-yielding vines planted on slate soils over clay, gravel and granitic decomposition sands. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. The treixadura ferments with the pastes.
Tasting Notes of Quinta da Muradella Alanda
- Appearance: Straw yellow colour with steely reflections, clean and bright.
- Nose: Medium intensity, spicy, stone fruit (nectarine), citrus, undergrowth such as rockrose, lavender, pastry notes on a very mineral background of chalk.
- Palate: Intense attack, balsamic, mineral with a dry and bitter finish (quinine).
