Description

The Quintaluna de Ossian 2018 is a high-quality white wine produced by the Ossian winery, located in the renowned wine region of Rueda, Spain.

This wine is produced with 100% Verdejo grapes, from centuries-old organically cultivated vineyards. The vines, planted in sandy soils at high altitude, provide a unique singularity and character to the wine. The 2018 harvest, marked by ideal climatic conditions, has given rise to a fresh, elegant and highly complex Verdejo, faithfully reflecting the terroir of the region.

TASTING NOTES OF QUINTALUNA DE OSSIAN:

At first glance, the Quintaluna de Ossian 2018 has a pale yellow color with greenish flashes, showing its freshness and youth.

On the nose, this Verdejo offers a seductive aromatic complexity. Notes of white fruits such as pear and green apple predominate, complemented by citrus nuances of lemon and grapefruit. Subtle floral aromas of jasmine and orange blossom are also perceived, along with delicate herbal and mineral touches, characteristic of the Rueda terroir.

On the palate, the Quintaluna de Ossian 2018 is fresh and vibrant, with a well-balanced acidity that enhances the fruity flavours. Notes of white and citrus fruits are harmoniously integrated with flavours of fennel and a subtle hint of almond.
