Description
The genesis of Cacique rum dates back to 1959, in Venezuela, adopting its name from the tribal leader who traditionally shared rum with the members of his community. Cacique Añejo, a Venezuelan rum distinguished by its dark tone, is the result of combining seven different varieties of rum, subjected to three different distillation methods and matured in American oak barrels.
Produced by hand and with natural ingredients such as pure spring water and selected sugar cane, its production process benefits greatly from the tropical climate of its jungle environment, giving it a unique, harmonious and distinctive flavor profile. With a deep aroma and a well-balanced flavor, it has a resplendent golden color. Although it is perfect to mix in a tall glass with ice and cola, it can also be enjoyed neat to fully taste its rich jungle notes. Its alcohol content is 37.5%.
