Description
Diplomatic Rum No. 1 Batch Kettle is produced mainly from sugar cane honeys and is aged in American oak casks that were previously used to age bourbon and whisky for 6 years.
The Batch Kettle system was taken to the Honey distillery in Venezuela in 1959. This semi-artisanal system is originally from Canada where it was used to distill American whiskey. This distillate is produced from sugar cane honeys and aged in American white oak casks, thus allowing the obtaining of complex and delicious rum, with a medium body.
Throughout the years diplomatic has developed a style of production of unique rums, associating different methods of distillation. The distillery Collection just highlights these various distilation systems through two new rums: the No. 1 Rum Batch Kettle and the No. 2 Rum column Barbet.
