Description
Ron diplomatico N º 2 Barbet is produced mainly from sugar cane honeys and is aged in American white oak casks, which were used to age bourbon and whisky for 4 years.
The Barbet column distillation system is of French origin, and was also installed in the diplomatic distillery in the year 1959. The BARBT column is completely made of copper, a type of material that allows the elimination of sulfites, an unwanted component that is generated after the fermentation process. This rum is produced from a molasses rich in sugar, which confers a very fruity profile, and aged after being distilled in American white oak casks.
