Description
Pasador de Oro Gran Reserva is an exquisite rum created in an exceptional way for connoisseurs.
It is aged for an initial period of 10 to 18 years (compared to 6 to 15 years for the XO version) in various types of casks. The barrels are then imported to Charente, in the cellars of the French company Les Bienheureux. The rum then remains in cognac casks for a further 6 months. It is then bottled in this beautiful container.
Tasting notes of El Pasador de Oro Gran Reserva
The nose immediately offers a good aromatic palette. Lots of vanilla at first, followed by fruity nuances with banana and pineapple. Red fruits are also present, in the form of sweet strawberry.
The palate is quite sweet and enhanced by a good pinch of black pepper and cinnamon. Caramelised nuttiness sits on the tongue, with the overall impression of a rather sweet and fatty rum. Caramel and milk chocolate spread widely across the taste buds.
