Tequila Corralejo Reposado
Description
The Corralejo reposed Tequila uses a Weber blue agave base of the highest quality. Most of the plants used for this tequila grow close to lemon groves, so without just adding other botanicals it has a citric flavor.
Hand-picked at its optimum maturation point, the blue agave is cooked in stone ovens and then fermented for 72 hours and distilled into copper stills. It is then aged for 4 to 6 months in three types of casks (American oak, Mexican oak and French oaks, in this order) that provide a complex bouquet of aromas and flavors.
Tequila Tasting Note Corralejo reposed
Corralejo Tequila resting on the nose is sweet, with a clear aroma of vanilla and agave honey that leaves a hot pepper and salty touches. In the mouth it is fruity and with citrus touches to lemon and lime. Smooth and elegant finish.
