Description
Gran Patrón Burdeos is a tequila made exclusively with blue agave from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Doubly distilled, it is initially aged for twelve months in American oak barrels that previously contained bourbon, and finally refined with additional maturation in French oak barrels that aged Bordeaux wine.
It is this combined ageing that gives it its dark amber colour, and its aromas and flavours of vanilla, sultanas and dried fruits, with a long, smooth, velvety finish.
It is presented in a leather case and packaged in a handmade glass bottle, corked and sealed with a glass stopper in the shape of a bee, symbol of the distillery, and includes a specially designed corkscrew for opening.
