Description
Terras Gauda is a white wine made in the Rías Baixas D.O. by the winery of the same name, Bodegas Terras Gauda.
This is a coupage of autochthonous varieties of this denomination: Albariño (70%), Loureiro (18%) and Caíño (12%) Planted in the valley of O Rosal, a privileged place in the mouth of the river Miño towards the Atlantic Ocean with a moderate climate ideal for the cultivation of the vine.
Terras Gauda is a very special white wine. Albariño provides fruity aromas and volume in the mouth, the Loureiro provides floral intensity in the nose and the Caíño contributes structure, as well as aromas of exotic fruits and balsamic.
Terras Gauda Tasting Note
Terras Gauda is a straw-yellow colour with slight golden reflections. Clean and very bright.
It has a clean nose, defined expressive, of high aromatic intensity in which the white fruits, of bone, and the citruses that are conjugated with balsamic, floral and slight herbaceous notes are highlighted.
Terras Gauda has an entrance in a friendly mouth, with volume, is fleshy, with an unctuous path and with a marked acidity, integrated and defined that gives a lot of freshness to the whole. Long finish, with remarkable persistence and fruity character with saline memories.
