Description
White Tomás Postigo Fermented in cask is a white wine of the D.O. Ribera del Duero elaborated by THE Bodega Tomás Postigo with the Verdejo variety, comes from a selection between the vineyards of free standing of the area of Nieva (Segovia).
Aged for 7 months in new French oak casks, with batoneos newspapers in the same casks. Posterior bottle ageing.
Tasting note of white Tomás Postigo fermenting in cask
White Tomás Postigo Fermented in cask is clean and shiny, with a high layer of golden color, dense and with abundant tear.
Fresh and complex nose, of medium high intensity, attractive aromas of white and ripe fruit accompanied by notes of pastry, fine wood well integrated. Aromas of nuts typical of French oak, with aniseed touches.
In the mouth it is creamy, with structure and good acidity. Balanced wine with sweet tannins, which accompany a pleasant bitterness. Aftertaste full of fruity notes, with much length and persistence.
