Description
A malt whisky matured in a combination of bourbon casks and virgin oak casks. The use of different casks makes this a unique expression.
When Tomatin Distillery was established in 1897, Tomatin's isolated and idyllic setting was almost perfect. However, there was no local labour force; the local inhabitants were scattered shepherds and herdsmen. The company initiated a construction project to accommodate its workforce. Since then, the distillery has been at the heart of the community and the community at the heart of the distillery. This legacy has continued and Tomatin remains one of the few distilleries that provides a home for its dedicated craftsmen.
