Description
Vega Sicilia unico Magnum is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero denomination of origin, elaborated by Bodegas Vega Sicilia.
It is the wine of reference of Vega Sicilia, although it shares with the rest of the wines of the winery its special gleam. It comes from the oldest vineyards of the property and in its composition, in addition to Tempranillo, it enters more cabernet sauvignon than Merlot. Although it is old, the Tinto maintains a vividness provided by its good acidity compensated with a resounding alcoholic degree.
It remains 14 months in wood vats, 18 months in new cask, 8 months in wine barrel and 24 months in high-capacity wood Tino.
The final product is one of the most prestigious and award-winning wines in Spain. A wine guard that improves over the years and you will certainly enjoy like no other.
Tasting notes of Vega Sicilia Unico Magnum
Vega Sicilia Unico has an intense ripe cherry color, with the living edge of a wine that is always in fullness. In the aroma the toasted touches of the wood prevail, with the countersunk notes of its oxidative evolution during its years in barrel. It has a wide range of flavors of stale but clean wood, with dry and pleasantly bitter tannins of the oak, together with its light sweetness of its alcohol.
