Vila de Corullón is a high-end red wine produced by the prestigious winery Descendientes de J. Palacios in the Bierzo region of Spain.

This wine is produced from century-old vineyards of the Mencía variety, grown on slate soils and at high altitude, which gives complexity and uniqueness to its profile. Vila de Corullón 2016 stands out for its elegance, freshness and balance, with a remarkable capacity for aging. With a limited production, it is an oenological jewel that reflects the purity and authenticity of the Bierzo terroir.

Tasting notes Villa de Corullon:

Appearance: It has a deep ruby ​​red color with violet reflections, showing a medium-high intensity and a dense and elegant tear in the glass.

Nose: On the nose, it is complex and expressive, with intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits, such as cherries, blackberries and blueberries. Floral notes of violets are perceived, along with balsamic touches, Mediterranean herbs and sweet spices, such as black pepper and cloves. Its aging in French oak barrels provides subtle notes of vanilla, tobacco and a mineral background characteristic of slate soils.
