VIÑA TONDONIA was founded by Mr. Rafael López de Heredia y Landeta at the end of the 19th century. XIX, R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia is still today a single-family winery, in which the four generations that have run it have continued the philosophy and the work and social maxims implemented by its founder.

R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia is also today one of the names that inspires the greatest respect and admiration among wineries producing "fine wine": the oldest winery in the emblematic city of Haro, and one of the first three in La Rioja. .
