Description
Smirnoff is a vodka of Russian origin, of 37.5% alc./vol., obtained by triple distillation of the grain alcohol, and filtered by coal, whose manufacture was started in the year 1864 by Pyotr Alexandrovich Smirnov. After losing the primitive factory at the hands of the Russian Tzar, they settled in Turkey, Poland and France, and later in the United States, since then taking the name Smirnoff, instead of the original Smirnov.
