Description
Whiskey Dewars 32 Years 50cl. Originally released in late 2019, Dewar's 32-year-old Double Double whiskey appeared on the radar of the elite beverage world when blended whiskey was crowned the 'World's Best Blended Whiskey' at the 2020 World Whiskey Awards at the Spring 2020 And the 32-year-old Scotsman already received another highly received 'World's Best Mixed Scotch' award at the 11th Edition of the International Whiskey Competition.
Double Double uses a process that was originally used by the famous blended Master A.J. Cameron (the force behind Dewar's white label), which uses a four-step aging process. Created under the watchful eye of Dewar's seventh blended master, Stephanie MacLeod, who also won 'master of the year' at the 2020 International Whiskey Competition: Double Double scored 96.4 out of a possible 100. Finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, this incredibly smooth whiskey has a sweet taste and nose. And while the 32-year-old version is obviously the most beloved member of the Double Double line, Dewar’s also offers 21 and 27-year-old versions. Although it sells out at most retailers, which is usually the case with award-winning bottles like this one, the 32-year-old version can now be found on some online alcohol delivery services.
