Description
This 1993 vintage release of Tullibardine was bottled in 2008 after being finished in Sauternes wood.
Tullibardine is a Scotch Whisky from the Highland region of Scotland. The distillery is located near the town of Blackford, Perthshire. The Tullibardine was originally founded by Delmé Evans in 1949.
Through a series of mergers and acquisitions, the distillery became the property of Whyte & Mackay in 1993. In previous decades, its large production capacity had filled its even larger warehouses. Greater emphasis was placed on this when it was sold to new owners in 2003, who retained much of the stock to launch this revitalized version of the Tullibardine brand.
It now operates at a capacity of 2,800,000 liters per year under the watchful eye of current owners Tullibardine Distillery Co.
