Description
Ysios Grano a Grano is a red wine D.O.C Rioja made by Bodegas Ysios with the Tempranillo variety.
This new edition of Ysios comes from a plot of 5.1 hectares planted in 1982 in a village at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria, Laguardia, located at 630 meters altitude. In this plot the cultivation conditions are more extreme due to the strong winds and low temperatures.
It is harvested manually in boxes of 10 kilos and then go on to a fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. 7-day post-fermentation maceration.
Ysios Los Prados is aged in both new and used French barrels for 12 months.
